The Catalouge of the classical Symphony (concerning works written between 1730 and 1845) is in German, but easy to use for anyone. You'll find each year in the section Jahrgänge
1730-1845. Just click on the year and you'll find any symphony which has been written in a certain year (and which is avaiable as a recording). For a short info on the composers
just click on Komponisten A-Z.
There are not only "normal" symphonies listed but also the genre "Concertante", Overtures and Sinfonias to Operas and, in some cases, Divertimenti.
The catalouge will grow over the years as new recordings appear. Currently I working at a speed of one year per week. If you have any questions or find a mistake let me know. I'm also interested
in further recordings which may have slipped through my fingers.
I hope this catalouge will be useful for anyone who likes or works with the 18th and early 19th century symphony.
